WELCOME

The Kalief Browder Foundation (KBF) offers scholarship programs in honor of the late Kalief Browder and His Legacy for young adults looking to further their education in criminal justice and mental health:

We proudly present:

Kalief's Legacy Scholarship Program @

  • Rowan University's: Blacks in Mental Health &,

  • Langston University's: National Association of Blacks in Criminal Justice

Did you know Oklahoma state has the highest incarceration rate in the world?

The problems start from systemic oppression and the lack of opportunity.

The KBF. has been helping to influence, educate and provide preventative measures for youth and young adults to enter into the Corrections and Criminal Justice field to help tip the scale and become a voice ever since the documentary aired with Jay Z the Executive Director of Time: The Kalief Browder Story.

Now with our relationship with The National Association of Blacks in Criminal Justice at Langston University OKC, we want to help sponsor these students like Kalief that show dedication to making meaningful changes to a targeted populations that end up in the largest incarceration population in the world. In the state of Oklahoma, Langston University is the only Historically Black College (HBCU) which serves an urban mission in a rural setting.

By Becoming a member you give an opportunity directly to support efforts in honoring Kalief’s legacy and work to provide real alternatives to incarceration (ATI's).

The Kalief Browder Foundation scholarship funds are sustained by financial contributions of cash and securities that may take many forms. These include tax-deductible contributions to the Foundation’s annual campaign.

Contributions made by check should be payable to "The Kalief Browder Foundation" and mailed to 776 Mace Ave, Suite F2, Bronx| New York. Please indicate if the donation relates to which Scholarship fund.
